Start early in the blue lanes of the medina, pause around Outa el Hammam, then walk uphill for the late-afternoon view from the Spanish Mosque. Chefchaouen is better explored slowly than checked off in a rush.
A smooth airport arrival starts before take-off. Confirm the terminal meeting point, share your flight number and destination, and choose transport that suits your group, luggage and arrival time.
Morocco’s coastline changes character from one stop to the next: surf and long promenades near Agadir, Atlantic wind in Essaouira, dramatic rock arches at Legzira and calmer Mediterranean bays farther north.
The High Atlas is close enough to change the pace of a Marrakech stay. Choose between the Ourika Valley and Imlil area, leave room for road stops, and pack for cooler weather at altitude.
For a darker sky, look beyond the city lights toward the desert and mountain regions. Check the moon phase, bring warm layers for after sunset and plan the return journey before nightfall.
Give the medina time on foot, plan garden visits for quieter hours and leave space between souk stops. If you are heading beyond the city, arrange the day trip around your pickup and return.
